Laura Moche

Laura Moche currently serves as a Sr. Director, Engineering for Charter’s Video Engineering and Delivery organization located at the Charter Technology Engineering Center in Englewood, Colorado.  In her current role, she leads the Video Integration and Test Team focusing on QAM and IP Video solutions.  Laura’s team is tasked with supporting strategic company projects such as Cloud DVR, VOD Content Expansion, IP Streaming in and out of home, Advanced Advertising, as well as sustaining engineering work for QAM and IP Video solutions already deployed to production.

Laura has been with Charter since 2014, and has been in the Telecommunications industry since 1999.  Prior to joining Charter, she worked for Comcast for over 12 years working on Telephony Provisioning, OSS and Ticketing applications, as well as Data Warehouse applications and databases.

In 2018, Laura was awarded the WICT Rocky Mountain “Woman of the Year in Technology.”  She has also served as the Chairperson for WICT TIO STEM Student Outreach multiple years, and gave a Tech Talk at WICT Rocky Mountain TIO Conference in 2018.

She attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison, graduating in 1998 with a double major in International Relations and Scandinavian Studies.  While working full time at Comcast, she earned a Master’s Degree in 2007 from the University of Denver – University College in Computer Information Systems.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys playing tennis, as well as traveling, hiking, biking and skiing with her husband and 2 very active boys in beautiful Colorado.  In her spare time, she does student outreach to encourage young women to get involved in Science and Technology, as well as seek employment opportunities in Tech fields.
