Laureen Krueger is a Senior Program Manager in Comcast’s Technology & Product group based out of California’s Bay Area. She has been a project manager for eight years, spending the last five developing software for interactive television with Comcast’s TV Experience team. Her expertise is helping Agile teams adapt to the ever changing market demands for reliable, high-quality, and relevant services that consumers love. She possesses certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master, Scrum Product Owner, Agile Planning and Estimating, as well as a Yellow Belt Six Sigma.
As a program manager for Comcast, Laureen’s responsibilities include managing project schedules, risks, dependencies, communications, and cross-team collaboration. In addition to program manager responsibilities, she also functions as a Scrum Master for two development teams. She currently assists these teams in applying the Kanban lean development process for developing X1/X2 applications.
Prior to joining Comcast, Laureen fulfilled project management roles in Cisco, CNET Networks (now CBS Interactive) as well as T & D Communications. Her responsibilities included release management and project management. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from University of La Verne with Departmental Honors.
Originally from Manila, Philippines, Laureen lives in San Francisco, California with her husband. She enjoys being physically active. Her interests include practicing Taekwondo (a Black Belt owner), boogie boarding, surfing, jet skiing, snorkeling, parasailing, and hiking.
