Lauren Trocano

Lauren is a proven communications professional with over 25 years’ experience developing compelling messages and delivering them to important audiences through strategic channels.

Lauren spent the first part of her career as an account executive and consultant, honing her skills in media relations, business writing and event planning.  She transitioned to her corporate communications career when she joined Bayer Corporation in 2006. It was there that she groomed her specialization in employee communications, working on teams that celebrated the company’s 150th anniversary, managed a CEO transition, and partnered with UNEP to celebrate World Environment Day. In 2013, Lauren joined GSK Consumer Healthcare just in time for the company to announce a major joint venture. She spent an exciting year helping the company prepare, and a second year deeply involved in integration and change management including the closing of the Pittsburgh headquarters.

This led to her current role at Comcast, where she is Director of Employee Communications for the Keystone Region. She supports the company’s mandate to make the customer experience its best product and helped to launch the Net Promoter System to all 4,000 employees.

Lauren earned her B.A. in American Studies from Notre Dame, and has served as a board member on the Community Foundation of Upper St. Clair and the United Way of Allegheny County Marketing Committee. She’s a "big" in Comcast’s workplace-based Big Brothers Big Sisters program. She’s also the proud mother of two millennials and lives with her husband Jim and dog Redd in Pittsburgh.
