Laurie MacDonald

Laurie MacDonald is Senior Manager of Network Engineering for Comcast. Laurie has been with Comcast for 6 years, first as a Network Engineering Project Manager and currently as the Network Capacity Manager for the Greater Boston Region.  In this new role, Laurie and her team of engineers are responsible for analyzing network performance and initiating action to deliver a consistent customer experience across all product lines.  She is also responsible for executing on network capacity initiatives in support of new products and product enhancements.  Her goal is to ensure that delivery of products across the network is transparent to the customer.

 

Prior to joining Comcast, Laurie spent nineteen years at Verizon where she started as a customer service representative and moved on to various leadership positions in the Construction and Engineering departments in the New England area.  There, her most interesting project was working on the construction of the Fios network.   

 

Laurie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Tufts University.  She resides in Rochester, MA where she spends her free time with her dogs, horses and family.
