General Manager Suddenlink Communications

Lee Ann Smiley is the General Manager for Suddenlink Communications in St. Joseph and Maryville, Missouri, where she oversees the day to day operations of the cable systems, including field and office, providing Video, High Speed Internet and Phone services to St. Joseph, Maryville and surrounding communities. Lee Ann’s other duties include public relations with local franchise authorities and communities, marketing strategies and implementation, direct and manage system upgrades, create, support and drive a sales culture within her organization. 

 

Lee Ann has thirty years in the cable industry.  Prior to Suddenlink, Lee Ann was with NPG Cable, Inc.  During this time she held various positions within the company such as Director of Business Operations, Billing Manager, Director of Call Center Operations of the Eastern Division and Assistant Office Manager.  She was instrumental in developing teams and leaders that lead NPG Cable, Inc. to be awarded Independent Operator of the Year.

 

Lee Ann is a board member of the Missouri Cable Telecommunication Association, member of Women in Cable Telecommunication Association, Diplomat with the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce, and Ambassador with the Maryville Chamber of Commerce.  Additional local affiliation include board member of Open Door Food Kitchen of St. Joseph, board member of Habitat for Humanity/Restore of St. Joseph and member of East Side Rotary Club.

 

Lee Ann is an active volunteer within her community.  She strongly believes is helping people, serving and creating opportunities to support and educate the under privileged in our community and missionaries around the world.  Local volunteer activity includes serving at the Open Door Food Kitchen, participation in East Side Rotary signature projects and programs with Lindbergh Elementary in St. Joseph, Missouri, United Way, local chapter, Habitat for Humanity, Through the Roof Support Ministry for adults with special needs, Helen Davis School for Severely Disabled, and Special interest committee Grace Evangelical Church.
