Lennies Gutierrez

Lennies was raised in small rural town in Northern California where Spanish was her first language.  She loves engaging in the community, being at the forefront of creating public policy and helping develop tomorrow’s future leaders.  Currently she is the Director of Government Affairs for Comcast for the South Bay and Southern Peninsula areas since 2010 and previously worked on legislation for 10 years at the California State Capitol.

She is an active board member of Hispanas Organized for Political Equality (HOPE), the Redwood City/San Mateo County Chamber of Commerce, the Silicon Valley Organization, and the Latino Leadership Alliance.  She also serves as an advisory board member of the Bay Area Women’s Sports Initiative, the Chicano Latino Youth Leadership Project and the Latina Coalition of Silicon Valley.

Lennies has participated in several leadership programs, most notably the 2012 Hispanic Association of Corporate Responsibility (HACR) Corporate Young Achievers Program, the 2012-13 Class of the NAMIC Executive Leadership Development Program held at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and is a senior fellow of the American Leadership Forum of Silicon Valley.

She is a graduate of the University of California at Davis and the Lorenzo Patino Law School of Sacramento. Lennies is married with two young children and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
