VP, Sales Operations Charter Communications
Linda Murrain is Vice President of Operational Support for Inbound and Outbound Sales and Retention at Charter Communications. As a Fortune 100 Executive with over 20 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry, she supports a nation-wide internal and vendor team of 10,000 Residential and Small-Medium Business employees handling Inbound Sales, Telemarketing, Digital Sales and Retention efforts.
At Charter, Linda is responsible for the support of all strategic initiatives that drive sales, revenue growth and inbound/outbound execution of Charter Voice, Internet, Cable services along with Spectrum Mobile in the Residential and Small-Medium size Business markets in the call center space. She creates and executes the support funnels, providing direction for all training design, scope of support, call routing strategy, employee development, communications, tool enhancements, commissions, churn reduction and operational effectiveness.
Prior to joining Charter in 2011, Linda was Vice President/General Manager of Sales at T-Mobile, USA, where she created sales strategy and direction for multiple sales channels and more than 500 retail outlets. Her career also includes multiple leadership roles in Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Installation, Maintenance and Service Management while at AT&T. Linda also served as Executive Director of Goodwill Industries of Metropolitan Chicago, Incorporated.
In addition to her professional career, Linda is very active in the community and supports numerous organizations. She spends her time between her work location in Stamford, CT and her home in Chicago, IL with husband Carl.
Linda attended Fisk University and holds a B.S. in Marketing from Chicago State University.
