Lindsay Fitz

​Lindsay Fitz, VP, Talent Partnerships & Strategy at A+E Networks, is responsible for strategically leveraging on-air talent across A+E Networks’ portfolio of brands to generate revenue, create brand opportunities and increase talent exposure. She creates talent-focused opportunities across categories such as live events, retail, publishing, merchandising, appearances, charities and sales, among others. Fitz leads a team of three, and supports all A+E brands, including History, A&E, Lifetime, FYI and LMN.

Fitz most recently served as Senior Director, Partnership Marketing & Innovation, A+E Networks, and was responsible for developing targeted, multi-platform brand partnerships and advertising promotions/partnerships that elevate the A+E Networks’ brands, intellectual properties and talent across departments such as marketing, programming, sales, consumer products and digital.

Previously, Fitz served as Senior Director, Talent Management & Strategy, Discovery and TLC Networks. In this role, she was responsible for identifying and implementing specific short and long-term business strategies for on-air talent across business units. Fitz worked closely with Business Affairs to maximize talent contracts, extend the brand, increase ratings, and help drive revenue. Fitz managed a team of employees and maintained an office in both the Discovery Headquarters in Silver Spring, MD and Los Angeles.

Prior to Discovery, Fitz served as Manager, Strategic Initiatives & Partnerships, NBCUniversal Sports Group (2004-2012), and is an Emmy Award winner and multiple-time Promax Sports Marketing Award winner. Fitz was key to developing and executing NBC Sports’ highly successful "Big Event Strategy," which marshals all NBCUniversal assets to make the audiences for the biggest events in sports even bigger.

 

Fitz graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism/Public Relations from Oklahoma State University, in Stillwater, Okla.
