Lisa Gardner

Lisa F. Gardner is Director, Digital Content Licensing in the Global Content Sales Department at A+E Networks.  In her 21 year career at A+E she has had an evolving set of responsibilities starting with VHS and DVD inventory management, first domestically, then a few years later expanding out internationally.  She managed multiple database conversions and system migrations to facilitate business growth.  Then she added rights management and expiration communications as well as digital download to-own reporting to her list of responsibilities.  For two years she managed quarterly refresh schedules for Hulu, and now she is currently testing Robotics Process Automation for DTO report accumulation, curating titles for seasonal & topical promotions, and comparing data activity across all digital platforms including DTO SVOD, AVOD and FAST.

Prior to joining A+E in 2000, Lisa managed inventory and purchasing at two NYC based book publishers, Henry Holt & Company and Harry N. Abrams, Inc., a career stemming from an internship program as part of her Masters of Science degree in Publishing from Pace University.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Springfield College in Psychology and English, and was an NCAA Division II springboard diver.

Originally from New York City, she and her husband, Ken, a USCG veteran who is now a 6th grade Science Teacher, along with their 3 year old tabby cats, Max & Yoda, currently reside in Danbury CT.  She is also the mother of a 25 year old daughter, Emily, who is a Computer Programmer living in Vermont.
