Manager, Corporate Communications Suddenlink Communications
As manager, corporate communications, Lisa Shea is responsible for a broad range of internal and external communications projects, with emphasis on managing the company’s overall social media strategy, including coordination of PR, HR, marketing and customer care social media activity; and overseeing community relations initiatives in Suddenlink’s top 15 markets.
Lisa recently began her fifth year serving on the WICT Midwest Chapter board of directors and is a member of the Association of Cable Communicators. She holds a bachelor’s degree in education and business writing certification from the University of Missouri.
Lisa joined Suddenlink as an intern in 2009, making a dramatic career shift after teaching pre-school and kindergarten, managing an educational toy store, and then freelance writing from home–in the company of her then-small children–for more than a decade.
A St. Louis native, Lisa serves as vice president of a women’s social and philanthropic organization at her church and advises several non-profit start-ups. She and her husband Jim are parents to Libby, 20, Brenna, 18, and Meaghan, 17.
