Lisa Vetere, President of WICT Greater Philadelphia, is Senior Director of Financial Operations at Comcast HQ.
For the past 8.5 years, Lisa has been dedicated to Finance in the cable industry through her roles within different areas of Comcast learning the business from several perspectives. She started in the Finance department in the former Eastern Division in 2009, as Financial Analyst working with the Finance team along with I/S Reporting. In 2010, Lisa took a role at Headquarters in Finance (FP&A), where she was on a team responsible for the Budget/Forecast process for all the Divisions and Headquarter groups. She managed the budget databases, created financial models for Finance leads along with trends and statistical models. At the end of 2011, she took a Finance role on the Freedom Region FP&A team, where she led a team of 14 people responsible for Accounts Payable, Financial Month-end Processes, Financial Modeling, Financial Reporting, Monthly Subscriber Reporting, Forecast and Budget for the Region. In 2014, Lisa transferred to her current role on the Cable HQ Procurement Finance Team supporting both Comcast and NBCU. In her current role, responsibilities include forecasting and budgeting for both companies along with rolling up the actual spend and forecast for our top vendors. Lisa provides strategic support to Comcast & NBCU VPs, SVPs, and CPO through financial presentations that help drive the vendor landscape of the business.
Prior to Comcast, Lisa was a Finance/Business Analyst at a Food Distribution company called Food Services of America in Scottsdale, Arizona where she worked on Business Intelligence Projects supporting areas of the business using customer and financial metrics along with training users on Business Intelligence Platforms. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Arizona State University.
Lisa joined WICT Greater Philadelphia in 2010 and is looking forward to her 10th year on the WICT Greater Philadelphia Chapter Board! Served as Vice Treasurer for 2 years and Operations Chair for 3 years. Lisa was a participant in the 2013 WICT Rising Leaders Program and 2016 Executive Development Series. She currently resides in Lansdale, PA with her husband, Luke, son, Max, and newest addition to the family, daughter, Savanna.
