Lisa Washa

For the past 23 years, Lisa Washa has been involved with the Cable and Telecommunications industry. She has managed cable systems in three states as State Manager in Illinois, Area Manager in the Southern suburbs of Minneapolis, and Vice President/General Manager of Operations for Wisconsin. Her current responsibilities as the Vice President/General Manager of Operations for Charter Communications in Wisconsin includes general management responsibilities, which consist of overseeing day-to-day operations, marketing, finance, government/community relations, personnel management, legal and human resource issues. The operation encompasses over 500 communities throughout Wisconsin and portions of Illinois and Minnesota, and represent approximately 500,000 customers and 1,000 employees. Lisa’s Wisconsin system is always listed among the top 3 operations companywide and placed number one throughout Charter in key operating metrics for fourteen consecutive months. Lisa has served as Vice-President, President and Past-President of the Midwest Chapter of Women in Cable and Telecommunications from 1994 – 1996 and also served on the National Board of Women in Cable Telecommunications as a Director-at-Large in 1997 and 1998. She is also actively involved in local community Boards including serving as the Vice-Chair of the Fond du Lac Association of Commerce Board of Directors , is on the Board of the Wisconsin Cable Communications Association and is a member of a volunteer service organization, Service League of Fond du Lac. These organizations focus on projects that improve the growth and development of the communities Charter serves. Lisa is married, has three step-children and has lived in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin for the last eleven years.
