Liz Murray

Liz Murray is VP of Government & Regulatory Affairs for Comcast, the nation’s leading provider of broadband and entertainment products and services. She is the Company’s primary representative before the state public utility commissions in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. She also provides regulatory and operational guidance internally, covering all products offered by Comcast Cable.

Liz joined Comcast in 2003 from Cablevision where she was Director of Regulatory Affairs in New Jersey. Prior to that she served in the administration of Governor Christine Todd Whitman as Deputy Chief of Policy and as Chief of Staff at the NJ Board of Public Utilities. She has been an aide to members of the New Jersey state legislature and Congress. At the beginning of her career, Liz worked on political campaigns for candidates at various levels of government.

Liz serves as Chairman of the NJ Cable Telecommunications Association and is a member of Comcast’s Northeast Division Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council. She is also on the Board of the Women’s Political Caucus of New Jersey, a multi-partisan organization dedicated to increasing women’s participation in the political process and the number of women in elected and appointed office. And Liz is Chair of the “AADC Annual Appeal” for the Associate Alumnae of Douglass College.

Liz is a graduate of the Half the Sky women’s leadership program and the Women Unlimited LEAD program. She is an alumnus of Douglass College at Rutgers University and resides in New Jersey with her wife and their two children.
