Liza Grier is the Vice President, Administration for Insight Communications at its corporate headquarters in New York City. In this capacity she is responsible for contractual and regulatory matters relating to the company’s operations and assists with policy making and strategic initiatives related to Insight’s legal compliance obligations. Liza works closely with all functional areas of the company providing legal guidance. She works particularly closely with the Government Relations, Central (Technical) Operations and Field Operations teams, to ensure that all of the company’s activities are in accordance with franchise obligations, governmental agency requirements and vendor contractual agreements. Liza joined Insight in 1989 as Manager of Legal Administration, and prior to her current role, she oversaw all District level legal affairs. Before joining Insight Communications, Liza was a Contract Administrator at Microband Cable Corporation, a wireless cable system operator. Liza is a member of Women in Cable Telecommunications. She is also committed to volunteer opportunities and is currently in the process of expanding her endeavors to include helping disadvantaged women obtain economic independence. She attended New York University in New York, Paris France and Salamance Spain where she studied Political Science and Romance Languages. She currently resides in New York, NY.
