Lois Nemcovsky

Lois Nemcovsky is Senior Vice President, International Media Operations for A+E Networks.®  In her role, Nemcovsky is responsible for defining, developing and implementing all aspects of Media Operations for the company outside of the United States. 

Nemcovsky oversees all of A+E Networks international operations strategies and planning as well as quality, localization and global fulfillment of 25,000+ hours of content annually, in 39 different languages, to over 200 territories worldwide.  In addition, Nemcovsky leads process development initiatives focused on innovation, automation and global operational synergies to support the expansion of A+E Networks’ business beyond the US.

Nemcovsky is a senior technical advisor to joint venture and O&O channel partners, and serves as a liaison to senior International management and business development leads to design and implement technical workflows and manage costs for global channel launches. Nemcovsky was also an acting leader across multiple international business units for the launch of Crime + Investigation® and the relaunch of HISTORY® in Italy.

Previously, Ms. Nemcovsky served as VP, International Operations, and Sr. Director, International Operations.  In these roles, she oversaw production formatting and global fulfillment, and also prepared business models and brokered technical solutions for the delivery and playout of channel feeds in South East Asia, Korea, Italy, Russia, Germany and the UK, including HISTORY HD in the UK, the first HD feed for A+E Networks.

Prior to joining A+E Networks, Ms. Nemcovsky was Vice President of Physical Distribution at Fremantle Media NYC.  She has also held managerial positions with LBS Communications. 

Nemcovsky is a graduate of The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature.  She is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences as a Network Executive and of Women in Cable Television. In 2017, she graduated from Class 35 of the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute.
