Margaret Dennis

Margaret Dennis is the Director-IT Billing/Telephony at Suddenlink Communications.  Margaret works with a team that is responsible for overall management of telephony billing.  Prior to joining Suddenlink, she gained her first experience at an MSO while working at Charter Communications (2002 – 2006).   Margaret’s team at Charter had the same basic responsibility for overall management of telephony billing.  Prior to working at these two MSOs, Margaret enjoyed a long career at Southwestern Bell Corporation, now known as AT&T.  Her entire career at AT&T was spent supporting retail and wholesale telephone service through various billing systems.    As a result of all of these experiences, Margaret has the distinction of being able to boast that she has supported telephony billing in every facet currently known to mankind, i.e., in a Cable-Partner arrangement between Suddenlink and Sprint, Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) model at Charter Communications and the original Regional Bell Operating Company (RBOC) scenario with AT&T.  And to think she started out her career as a “secretary”!

When Margaret is not busy supporting telephony billing, she enjoys hanging out with her family and friends, bowling with the Frame Fatales and playing “at” golf with the Par Tee Girls.  She has been involved with WICT Mid-West for the past two years and currently serves on the Board of Directors as the Programming Co-Chair for St. Louis.  Margaret is also a regular aphaeresis/platelets donor at Barnes-Jewish Hospital Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis.
