Margaret McLean Walsh

Margaret McLean Walsh is an executive and career coach who is passionate about partnering with individuals and organizations to realize their goals. Her positive psychology approach works to uncover strengths and build on them. Clients value how her direct approach and sense of humor helps to broaden their perspectives.  Her clients are from entrepreneurial start-ups to global institutions such as JPMorgan, ADP, Coca-Cola, MEC, GroupM, Xerox, and 1010data.

 

Margaret encourages a continuous learning culture and is known for creating an inspiring sense of purpose and possibility.  Organizations in transition are her sweet spot.  As an HR leader, she worked with financial services organizations including JPMorganChase, FRBNY, DTCC and as Chief HR Officer at Participants Trust Company and Omgeo LLC. 

 

Margaret completed coach education programs at Columbia University’s Executive Coaching Certification Program, where she is also a member of the faculty team.  She earned ICF’s Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential, is a certified career coach, and holds assessment certifications in EQ-2.0 Emotional Intelligence, Team EQ, EQ360, The Birkman Method®, The Hogan, and NBI® thinking preferences suite. Margaret earned her MA and BS degrees from Iona College, CUNY Brooklyn College; and completed MBA coursework and a professional certification program at NYU.  She serves on ICF NYC’s Board as president.
