Marian Jackson

Marian started her career with TCI in 1997 at the former Bay Area Division office for the Government Affairs Department, subsequently taking a position as Director of Regulatory Affairs when TCI merged with AT&T Broadband.  In 2003 she transferred to the Central Valley as Director of Government Affairs for Comcast and in 2008 for the Sacramento DMA.
 
In her previous life, Marian has worked for 15 years in small law firms. She holds a Juris Doctorate (law degree) from John F. Kennedy University School of Law.  Her community involvement includes being the former President of the Stanislaus Literacy Center, Secretary of the Women Center, Advisor to the Tracy Performing Arts Foundation, Advisor to the Great Valley Center, former President and current Advisor to the Women in Cable Telecommunications, Committee Member of San Joaquin A+ and Executive Board Member for the Coalition for Afterschool Program, Member of the Roseville and Sacramento Asian Chambers of Commerce, Marketing Committee for the Powerhouse Science Center, and in her spare time she is the Marketing Director for her husband’s small business.

She and her husband, Bill, reside in the Sacramento area.
