​Marie Pai is the Senior Manager of Voice and Data Services for Comcast Business, the largest provider of internet, phone, and cable services to businesses.  In this role, she is responsible for leveraging cross-functional collaborations to drive innovative network solutions, to certify core network design and integration, and to provide advanced voice customers with the best quality experience.


With more than 20 years in the telecommunications industry, Marie has provided leadership and technical management for multiple companies, including Bell Labs, AT&T, and IBM. She has led teams within software development, system engineering, program management, network integration testing, end-to-end solutions, as well as artificial intelligence R&D.


Marie holds a B.S. in Mathematics from the National Central University of Taiwan; a M.S. in Computer Science and a Ph.D. both from University of South Carolina. Her Ph.D. dissertation was to establish an Artificial Intelligence approach to fuse various types of information – such as chemical analysis, statistics of historical data, graphic charts, satellite images, and other descriptive notes – how to make sense of the sometimes incomplete and inexact information and interpret it efficiently like the domain experts. 


Marie serves as the Mission Deacon at Monmouth Community Christian Church.  She was the chairperson of the Scholarship Committee for the Chinese Institute of Engineers.  She was a founding member of the Columbia Chinese Language School, a non-profit organization that enabled children with various cultural backgrounds to better communicate with each other. Marie enjoys traveling and gardening.​
