Martha Ribeiro

Martha Ribeiro is Sr. Director of Public Affairs and Administration.  In her role, she supports the Office of the Chief of Staff serving as Executive Producer for a variety of large company-wide events with high visibility including the Nickelodeon Town Hall (1,200+ employees), Holiday Party, Executive Staff meetings and off-sites.   She is responsible for staff-related communications and operations for New York’s offices, including partnering closely with Planning and Design on the redesign and programming of Nickelodeon floors. She is also a second-term member of the Brand Training team, handling all logistics and facilitating brand emersion training sessions to roll out to all Nickelodeon’s US employees. 

 

During her 21 years at Viacom, she’s worked in a wide variety of roles, freelancing across all channels and departments.  For an extended time she worked in Nickelodeon Consumer Products, gaining an understanding of the business with Licensing Show, Toy Fair, and licensee partner relationships. For 15 years she’s put her events-planning experience to good use for Nick Public Affairs & Administration, and worked on all aspects of pro-social campaigns like The Big Help, Let’s Just Play, Kids Pick the President, and World Wide Day of Play.

 

After being accepted into the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, she moved to Manhattan to pursue her studies in Performing Arts. She’s a founding Board Member of Retablo Hispanic Theater Company, serving as Secretary of the Board. She is the winner of the HOLA Award for Outstanding Performance by a Lead Female Actor (Defensa de Dama), and has also performed in several other lead roles produced by the Company.
