Mary Ann Green

Mary Ann Green is Vice President of Media Software & Services – Business Systems for Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. (TBS, Inc.).  In this role, she leads the Business Systems group within Turner’s Global Technology Organization.  She is responsible for the overall technology strategy and system operations of software platforms supporting business clients in sales, programming, promotions management, and strategic planning across linear, broadband, and wireless platforms.   Green is based in Atlanta and reports to Karen Painter, Senior Vice President of Media Software & Services – Development & Operations for Turner Broadcasting System.

 

She joined Turner in 2011 and has served in various roles including Vice President of Sales Solutions and Vice President of Ad Sales Technologies. Green previously was a business consultant with The North Highland Company and served as vice president of airline operations systems for Delta Air Lines. During more than two decades in technology development and operations, her broad professional experience includes technical responsibility for operational execution, strategic planning, system design and development, product management, and program management.  Green has led the integration and implementation of the digital sales order management and ad serving platforms, creating a foundation for scalability and future growth.

 

Green earned a bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia. She serves on the board of directors of the Technology Association of Georgia Education Collaborative, a not-for-profit professional association dedicated to strengthening Georgia’s future workforce by uniting Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) resources with leading education initiatives emphasizing science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) careers.  Additionally, she’s a mentor in the Circle Mentoring program for Turner Women Today, the company’s business resource group dedicated to inspiring, encouraging and empowering women to achieve their full potential.
