Mary Dzabic serves as senior vice president of finance for Crown Media Family Networks, home of linear networks, Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and Hallmark Drama; SVOD service, Hallmark Movies Now; and publishing division, Hallmark Publishing. Dzabic is based in the company’s Denver office and reports to Andy Rooke, chief financial officer.
A 20-year veteran at Crown Media, Dzabic currently leads the company’s financial planning and analysis function. Her oversight includes providing timely, accurate reporting and analytics; offering data-driven insights and recommendations; and driving operational excellence in the finance division.
In her previous role at the company as senior vice president of financial analysis, reporting and compliance, Dzabic’s responsibilities included the preparation of external financial reports, consolidation of financial information, and the analysis, interpretation and implementation of accounting standards in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Dzabic joined Crown Media in 2000 as a senior financial analyst.
Dzabic began her career in 1997 in public accounting with Price Waterhouse LLP where she served in the audit practice with a focus on public companies in the manufacturing industries. Mary is a CPA and earned her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Truman State University in 1996.
Dzabic lives in Englewood, Colorado with her husband, Ricky, and her two children, Alen and Haris. She is frequently found on the ski slopes during the winter and at the beach in Croatia in the summer.
