Mary Hermes is the Director of Sales for the New York City Interconnect team at Spectrum Reach (formerly Time Warner Cable). Mary has been working at Spectrum Reach for 5 years. She was hired as an Account Executive and promoted to Director of Sales in 2015. In her current role, and along with her co Director of Sales, Mary manages a team of 12 Sales Account Executives. She takes pride in building relationships with her colleagues, and sharing innovative strategies with her team. She also works closely with the marketing, finance, and operations teams to ensure all business is cohesive.
Having been in the industry for 14 years, she has extensive experience in both local and national sales. She began her career at Mediaedge:cia as a Buying Assistant and then worked at Group M as a Media Buyer. In that position, she worked with a number of accounts under the WPP umbrella. Mary transitioned to NYC in 2007. She spent 3 years as a Senior Negotiator for Team Detroit buying the New York City market prior to making the move to sales as an Account Executive for Time Warner Cable.
Mary graduated from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, IN with a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and is the Alumnae Club President for the NYC Chapter of the College. She is originally from Dixon, Illinois and she currently resides in New York City. She’s adopted the NYC sports teams as her own, and enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as traveling during her spare time.
