Mary K. Butler

Mary K. Butler joined Comcast Spotlight in 2001 bringing over 10 years of experience in the television ad sales industry and has been a member of WICT VA since 2003.  As National Sales Manager at Comcast Spotlight Richmond, Mary K. Butler provides sales leadership for Richmond’s national sales team and works primarily with the company’s rep firm National Cable Communications based in New York.

Mary K. works with Spotlight Richmond’s local and regional sales management as well as the region’s Southern Virginia market leaders, advising on strategic sales planning and inventory management.  In addition to developing, reviewing and negotiating ad sales agreements, she is the market’s political liaison working closely with division leaders on the market’s political business.

Prior to Comcast, Mary K. Butler served as a local, regional and senior account executive for the Richmond market’s FOX, UPN and CBS affiliates building an impressive 20 plus year career of sales experience in the television ad sales industry.  She served as President of the Richmond Ronald McDonald House, where she oversaw issues relating to operational functions and fundraising efforts.  Mary K. Butler is a skilled philanthropist and from 2004 to 2007 helped raise over $300K for Children’s Hospital in Richmond through the development of the Wal-Mart Miracle Challenge.

Mary K. Butler has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from East Carolina University, is a member of the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society and Alpha Delta Pi Sorority.  She is skilled in the Enneagram and is an active member of EANT, a global association of enneagram trainers in the narrative tradition.
