Melanie Gardiner is currently a Communications Manager of Military and Veteran Affairs at Comcast NBCUniversal. Based out of Comcast’s headquarters in Philadelphia, she helps lead the team’s internal and external support to the company’s military-focused initiatives, programs, and outreach to the military community. Melanie also serves as the Communications Co-Lead for Comcast’s Employee Resource Group Mentorship and Development Program, which provides employees with one-on-one mentoring and the opportunity to participate in an immersive development Capstone project.
Prior to her current role, Melanie served as a senior copywriter for NBCUniversal’s Corporate Creative Group in New York City, where she worked with internal stakeholders on messaging and materials for company-wide campaigns including the Rio and Sochi Olympics. Prior to Comcast NBCUniversal, Melanie worked in TV production as a writer and producer for Fuse Media and MTV.
Melanie graduated from Rutgers University and lives in New Jersey with her husband, two children, and two dogs. She enjoys running, writing, reading, and eating anything that involves chocolate or cheese.
