Melissa Garner is the Senior Director of Talent Management and Inclusion at Cable One (DBA Sparklight®). In her current role her team leads Talent Acquisition, Leadership Learning and Development, Performance Management and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
Melissa has been with Cable One since 2019 and has been in the Telecommunications industry since 2000. Prior to joining Cable One, she worked for CenturyLink for over 19 years working in repair, Labor Relations, HR Business Partner, Talent Management, and leadership development.
She attended Southern Utah University, graduating in 1992 with a major in Communications. While working full time at CenturyLink, she earned a Master’s Degree in 2000 from Westminster College in Human Resource Management.
Melissa is from UT and currently lives in Arizona. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, running, hiking, biking, and camping. In her spare time, she does volunteer work for the homeless, foster children and animal rescues.
