Melissa Roberts is the IT Service Delivery Manager of Metadata for Scripps Networks Interactive. In this role she oversees a cross functional team responsible for the Media metadata applications, linear scheduling application, and data quality. She is also responsible for launching the Business Analysis Center of Excellence where she established the business analysis processes, mentored the business analysts, and worked to continually improve and update standards and deliverables. She is instrumental in creation of a forum for different business groups to discuss various metadata needs, facilitating open communication and creation of processes that are beneficial to all groups.
Melissa started at Scripps Networks Interactive, in 2007 as IT Business Analyst for the in-house developed financial applications. She then moved into the lead Business Analyst role for the Media Asset Management applications. In 2011, she assumed the position of Manager of Business Analysts in the IT Solution and Planning department.
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of TN at Chattanooga. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
