Mindy Gewirtz

Dr. Mindy Gewirtz, MCC is an ICF certified coach at the Master Level, with twenty years of experience of executive coaching, leadership development and consulting as an organizational strategist – a choreographer of change and transformation. Mindy partners with senior management to design, develop and deliver talent management solutions that result in strengthened individual leadership performance, and organizational capacity for future growth.

Mindy is currently Adjunct Faculty at Lewis University and teaches Coaching Methodologies, a blended coaching course in the master’s Program in Organizational Leadership.

Mindy continues to consult and coach for the Federal Aviation for several years. Recently, she designed and helped deliver a career development workshop for managers. Mindy conducted a year-long executive coaching initiative at the Teachers’ Retirement System of NYC for DCAS. She also co-led a six-day Leadership Coaching initiative for nonprofit executives in the NYC area, and two-day workshop for Neighborhood Initiative Development Corp. in Bronx, NYC. Earlier in her career Mindy was on the leadership team of family service agencies in Albany NY and Boston MA and was Adjunct Faculty at Boston University.

Mindy has demonstrated success in developing executives, delivering workshops and leading teams in complex environments, in ways that drive business performance and promote innovation. Mindy has coached senior executives and guided large-scale systemic change and leadership development programs for clients such as Malden Mills, Inc., Evergreen Solar, EMC, Robert Woods Johnson Foundation, MITRE, and Goulston & Storrs.  Outcomes include stronger business performance, and greater organizational capabilities to execute new business strategies.  She delivered a four-month Strategic Leadership and Innovation initiative for 150 of Citibank’s global high-potential executives.

Entrepreneurship, leadership and innovation are also an active part of Mindy’s client portfolio. Mindy’s recent engagement in financial services includes training, facilitating and coaching teams as part of the Strategic Leadership and Innovation initiative for 150 of Citibank’s high-potential VPS from around the world.  Mindy became a co-founder of 7AC a waste heat driven cooling and heating Cleantech firm, consulting to the C-suite. She has actively consulted with early stage entrepreneurs in Boston’s thriving entrepreneurship community, co-founding the Emerging Business Collaborative (EBC), a nonprofit multi-disciplinary business advisory alliance. Entrepreneurs benefit from EBC’s network of strategic business connections, acumen and access to capital. She also gives back to the entrepreneurial community having been an active mentor in the Boston University MBA Kindle Business Competition, and the National Cleantech Open. Having moved back to the NJ and NY area, Mindy is a very active member of ICF NYC Chapter. She is the founder and leads the Coach Café! for the Chapter which now operates in every borough except the Bronx. She has also provided pro bono coaching services to the WICT program at their annual conference-Women in Cable TV. She is also an active pro bono member of the UN’s IGNITE program providing coaching to nonprofit leadership.

Mindy earned her Ph.D. at Boston University, an ODHRD post-doctoral certificate from the Boston Institute of Psychotherapy, and her BA (Phi Beta Kappa) in psychology and education at Brooklyn College.  Mindy maintains her Board-certified Diplomat licensure as a psychotherapist.
