Nancy McGuire is the Senior Manager of Engineering Operations in the Technology & Product group based out of Comcast Headquarters in Philadelphia, PA.
Joining Comcast in 2007 as a Quality Assurance Engineer, Nancy has continually taken on new responsibilities acting as the laision between Rovi and Guideworks (A Rovi/Comcast Joint Venture - wholly acquired by Comcast in 2010). She also provided field, vendor and partner support on the native platforms. Her exemplary performance in these roles provided a foundation to advance her through the management ranks to her current role as Senior Manager – Engineering Operations, X1 Production Support.
She currently heads a growing team of incident managers spanning two continents and consisting of over forty staff members who ensure the health and stability of Comcast’s flagship X1 platform. This team is responsible for supporting all infrastructure, applications and customer facing devices used by Comcast’s X1 customers.
