Natalie Makowka currently serves as Executive Director, Application Development at Comcast Business. Specifically, Natalie is a member of a team whose vison is to use experience, creativity, and teamwork to make innovative business services a reality at Comcast. In this role, Natalie is responsible for all aspects of software development for Comcast Business Voice applications. These apps provide remarkable experiences such as the ability to start a collaboration event in 10 seconds or less. Natalie has championed the very successful Agile transformation of her organization, which has brought increased productivity and transparency.
Natalie is honored to lead an amazing team of professionals who are passionate about delighting customers with high-quality, leading-edge solutions. In 2018, her team was awarded the TMCNet 2018 Internet Telephony Product of the Year and the Light Reading Most Innovative Business Cloud Service.
Natalie began her career in international telecommunications with the consulting firm American Management Systems. She worked on large-scale customer care and billing systems for deployments in France, Great Britain, Germany, and the US. Natalie holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service (BSFS) from Georgetown University.
Natalie is a devoted supporter of women in technology. She was named a Woman to Watch by WICT in 2016. She is also a regular speaker at the Women in Tech Summit where she expounds on the benefits of women staying in the tech industry.
While not at work, Natalie attempts to master the art of cooking and enjoys spending time with her family in the beautiful Colorado mountains.
