Olga Kourdova

Olga Kourdova is a Strategic Tax Director at Charter Communications. In her current role, Olga is responsible for directing all state income tax audits from initial examination through the appeals and dispute resolution process. Olga also supports state income tax policy efforts by analyzing the impact to Charter of corporate income tax legislative proposals in over 40 states. Olga has over ten years of tax experience in both public accounting and private industry, including eight years in the telecommunications industry.

In her previous roles with Charter, Olga supported the income tax operations team. Her responsibilities included accounting & provision for state income taxes, tax compliance, and tax planning initiatives support. Olga began her accounting career with PwC where she spent three years in the State Tax practice working on a wide variety of consulting, planning, and compliance projects for clients spanning multiple industries.

Olga is a Certified Public Accountant and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Florida State University. Since joining Charter, she has completed the Charter Manager Leadership Development Program and the Charter Finance Mentorship Program. Olga received the “Charter Champions” achievement award in 2019 for her significant contributions towards the successful resolution of multiple state audits. She currently serves as Treasurer for The WICT Network’s Board of Directors for the Carolina’s Chapter.

In her free time, she enjoys gardening, hiking, and spending time with her family. Olga was born and raised in Russia and moved to the United States in 2003 to pursue her higher education. She resides in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband and teenage daughter.
