Chief Customer Officer and General Manager, USA Afiniti
Orlando Hampton is the Chief Customer Officer and General Manager, USA for Afiniti. In this role, Orlando is responsible for business development, managing key client relationships, overseeing deployments and managing Afiniti’s team, operations, and strategy in the country.
Orlando started at Afiniti when it was founded and worked or was responsible for every vertical in the business at one time from global business development to marketing to operations. Orlando started Afiniti University, the 3-day deepdive training program designed for Afiniti’s clients and prospects, was part of the team that started the Afiniti Women in Leadership series, which has now had successful sessions around the globe and was central in the sales efforts for many of Afiniti’s largest clients around the globe.
Prior to joining Afiniti, Orlando served as a Senior Business Operations Manager at Chase where he was responsible for inbound and outbound sales performance for Chase Card Services and for overseeing several thousand internal and outsourced employees operating in the US, India, South America and the Philippines. Orlando was recruited to Chase specifically because of his expertise in building global teams and operations. During his tenure Chase established their first ever BPO relationships in the Philippines and India, then broke ground on Chase owned and operated facilities in both countries. Today there are nearly 50,000 Chase internal employees in the Philippines alone. This expansion of the business operations was an essential driver in Chase being ranked by S&P Global as the largest bank in the United States and the sixth largest bank in the world with total assets of US $2.73 trillion which makes it the world’s most valuable bank by market capitalization.
Before joining Chase, Orlando served a Vice President at Providian Financial managing telemarketing sales, retention, care, quality and training teams supporting contact centers. At Providian and before that Reese Brother Teleservices Orlando developed a reputation as an operations expert with a unique ability to combine fantastic results with off the charts employee engagement rankings.
Orlando is a passionate advocate for children in underserved communities spending much of his free time mentoring, coaching and training children on the critical skill of networking. Orlando has also worked tirelessly raising tens of thousands of dollars for the National Kidney Foundation as well as Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
