Pamela Fisher

As a media professional with nearly 15 years of experience in the news and entertainment business, Pamela has spent the better part of her career working for News Corporation a dynamic and innovative communications company which serves a global audience by providing news, entertainment, and information across all media platforms.  The company’s media properties include, Fox Broadcasting, 20th Century Fox Film, National Geographic Channel, Harper Collins Publishing, The Wall Street Journal, and MySpace.

Pamela currently serves as Director of Government Relations for News Corporation where she represents the Company’s legislative and regulatory interests before Congress and government agencies, particularly those impacting communities of color and other social and economic disadvantaged communities.

Prior to working with the Government Relations office, Pamela worked in cable television at the National Geographic Channel, where she collaborated with management to adapt and launch international Channels based on National Geographic’s highly-respected, multi-cultural and educational branding.

Pamela started her career at News Corporation in broadcast television at KSAZ-TV and WTTG-TV, the owned-and-operated FOX stations in Phoenix, AZ, and Washington, DC, respectively.   During her time at Fox Television Stations, Pamela was afforded the opportunity to hone her broadcast management skills and experience in many areas at the television station: from newsroom and marketing efforts to local and national sales and programming.

Pamela attended The Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University in Phoenix, Arizona, and George Mason University in Washington, DC.  She holds a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Communications.
