Pamela Mackenzie

Pam Mackenzie serves as Area Vice President for the Hartford/Springfield markets of the Connecticut-West Region. Pam is responsible for area leadership of 345,000 customers in Northern Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. Pam’s director team includes Technical Operations, Human Resources, and Area Sales & Marketing.

Pam has more than 20 years of experience in the cable industry holding various positions, including her most recent position as Area Vice President of Adelphia Communications of Northern Ohio. In this position she led operations for 380,000 subscribers in 170 communities including Cleveland. Pam also served as Area Vice President for Adelphia in Western Pennsylvania, where she was responsible for the day-to-day operation of eight systems in three states, serving almost 400,000 subscribers. She managed 600 system employees and 470 franchises, rebuilt and upgraded 7,000 miles of cable infrastructure, and successfully launched both digital cable and high-speed Internet access. She has also served as Regional Manager and General Manager for several systems in Arizona and California.

Prior to joining the cable industry, Pam held several posts at the White House during the Carter Administration, including Director of Logistics, Management Analyst and Assistant Director of Presidential Correspondence.

Pam serves on the national board of directors of Women in Cable Telecommunications, and was selected by that organization as a Betsy Magness Leadership Fellow in 1997. She has been active in a number of community organizations and recently volunteered her time to rebuild homes in New Orleans with Habitat for Humanity.
