Priya Nevrekar

Priya Nevrekar is Director, Strategic Ventures for NBCUniversal Digital Distribution. Since joining NBCUniversal, she has worked for the Mobile Content Venture (MCV), a joint venture comprised of 12 major broadcast groups including NBC, dedicated to deploying Dyle™ Mobile TV technology, enabling consumers to watch live broadcast television on their mobile devices while on-the-go. In this role, Nevrekar provides strategic oversight and fosters business relationships with content owners, distributors, app developers, chip manufacturers, and device and accessory makers. Most recently, she secured a partnership with Belkin to develop accessories that will enable smartphones and tablets to receive Dyle TV.

Prior to NBCUniversal, Nevrekar worked with the management consultancy A.T. Kearney, tackling operational and strategic challenges of Fortune 100 companies focusing on media and consumer packaged goods.

Previously, she served as an intern with NBCUniversal, where she evaluated video game opportunities for NBCU to play in the gaming market.  She also interned with JibJab Media, where she assessed mobile opportunities for JibJab’s humorous content.  She began her career in Finance at ABN Amro in Chicago.

Nevrekar holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University. She serves on the advisory board of Women in Wireless, a group devoted to empowering and developing female leaders in mobile and digital media. She currently resides in New York City with her husband and son, Samit and Ram.
