Rachel Aja

Rachel Aja is the Manager of Government and Regulatory Affairs for Cox Communications. In this role, she interacts with local jurisdictions on all aspects of telecommunications from licensing to construction and service. Prior to joining Cox, Rachel worked in various aspects of government affairs, including running campaigns, lobbying, and staffing elected officials.

Rachel is an alumnus of Leadership West Class XII and the Luke Air Force Base Honorary Commander Program for the 310th Fighter Squadron. She currently serves on the board for local nonprofit, Read Better Be Better and is a former member of the University of Arizona Phoenix Alumni and Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership boards. She is a member of the Fighter Country Partnership Blue Blazer Squadron Charlie Class and an active member of a number of community organizations. In 2020, Rachel was recognized by Arizona Business Magazine as one of the Top 20 Most Influential Minority Business Leaders and as Fighter Country Partnership’s Blue Blazer Volunteer of the Year.

Rachel earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arizona and is a passionate fan of Wildcat basketball. In her free time, Rachel enjoys reading, traveling, and CrossFit and is looking forward to hiking the Grand Canyon rim to rim this summer. Rachel lives in Phoenix, AZ with her husband.
