Rachel Walker is a detail and people-oriented Leader with 22+ years Sales and Call Center experience. She has a proven result record of driving teams to meet if not exceed goals. Rachel currently serves as a Vendor Partner Manager for Cox Communications. In this role her responsibilities include being the primary contact to manage the relationship between Cox outsourcing partners and Cox internal Care functions. This includes managing the performance of outsourcing partners onshore and nearshore to achieve Cox’s business objective KPI performance.
Before her Vendor Management role with Cox, Rachel was a Supervisor within Cox Customer Care Technical Support Omaha. Rachel developed a winning team of top performers across the enterprise for customer experience and sales performance. Prior to Cox, she graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Minor in Chemistry. After graduation she worked for Aureus Medical staffing travel RNs. She managed contract relationships, staffing operations and business to business relations for temporary, per diem and contract to permanent placement.
Rachel is the mother of 2 toddler boys and wife to her husband Jason. She is always busy chasing them around the house and enjoys doing science experiments with them. Rachel enjoys science and listening to her favorite podcast Radiolab. She is a member of the Cox Women’s ERG and Hola Latina ERG. In 2021, Rachel began volunteer work with HETRA, an organization in her community serving adults, veterans and children of all ability levels through equine-assisted activities.
