Randi S. Pollack

Randi S. Pollack is Vice President and Digital Media Counsel in the Legal & Business Affairs division at A+E Networks.  A+E Networks is a global media company with a brand portfolio, including A&E®, HISTORY®, Lifetime®, FYI™, LMN® and VICELANDnetworks.

Randi is the lead attorney that supports the Digital Media and Digital Content Licensing business groups, as well as, supports the International business group.  Randi is responsible for drafting, negotiating and advising these groups on various agreements and business initiatives related to global content licensing for linear and digital distribution with A+E’s channel partners and third party platforms, including distribution for video-on-demand (AVOD/SVOD/TVOD), download to own and electronic sell through rights, TV Everywhere watch apps for its channels, direct to consumer apps (e.g., Lifetime Movie Club® and HISTORY Vault™),  and A+E’s websites.  Randi is also responsible for negotiating and drafting agreements related to digital advertising, analytics/research and digital operations.  She works closely with the rights team to analyze digital rights for new digital platforms and technologies.  She also advises various business divisions at A+E on agreements, issues and risks surrounding global privacy and data security matters, including collection, use and storage of data.

Prior to A+E, Randi was Assistant General Counsel at 4Kids Entertainment, Inc., where she reviewed and negotiated a wide variety of agreements related to various children entertainment properties (including, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Yu-Gi-Oh!) and licensing of non-children’s brands.

Randi has a Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law (now Mitchell Hamline School of Law) and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Arizona.
