Rebecca Cianci

Rebecca Cianci, Director of Regional Programming manages the Programming Team in the Greater Chicago Region, leading the team to develop new and original programming for Comcast. Cianci oversees all programming in the Chicago Region as well as overseeing Government Access, Public Access, Leased Access and Local VOD content in the Greater Chicago Region. Cianci began her career at an NBC affiliate in Madison, Wisconsin and worked on local news and local programming such as PM Magazine before finding her way into the cable television world. Since her entrance into the cable world over 20 years ago she has held positions at, American Cablesystems, Cablevision, Continental Cablevision, Media One, AT&T Broadband, TCI and now with Comcast. Her belief that “good” programming can and should be a deciding factor in customers desire to purchase cable over the competitors has driven her in her career. Most recently Cianci was responsible for the consolidation of over forty local studios into a regional model. In January of 2008 her team launched CN100 a Regional Channel now seen throughout the entire Greater Chicago Region with a full line up of award winning programming.
