Rebecca Riegelsberger

Rebecca Riegelsberger is the Director, Corporate Income Tax at Scripps Networks Interactive Inc., a developer of lifestyle content for multiple media platforms including television, digital, mobile and publishing.  The company’s media portfolio includes popular lifestyle brands HGTV, DIY Network, Food Network, Cooking Channel, Travel Channel and Great American Country. In her role, Becky manages domestic and international income tax compliance, tax planning and tax reporting and disclosure.  She also advises the company on tax matters related to corporate restructurings and expansion activities including acquisitions, divestitures and their related funding requirements. In addition, she works with various departments in the organization to support the Company compliance and reporting for non-income based taxes. 

   

Prior to joining Scripps in early 2009, Becky was Tax Manager at Sencorp, a multinational manufacturing company which produces pneumatic tools and fasteners. In this role, she was responsible for all aspects of income and non-income tax compliance, planning, tax reporting and   audits. Becky began her career in income taxes at Cinergy, where she was responsible for income tax compliance and reporting for Cincinnati Gas & Electric.

 

She is involved in the local chapter of the March of Dimes in fundraising for research of premature birth and birth defects. She also devotes her time to the Ohio Perinatal Quality Control committee, the local chapter for Mothers of Multiples, the American Diabetes Association and her Church Moms Group.

 

Becky holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from University of Cincinnati and is a licensed CPA in the state of Ohio. She resides in Cincinnati with her husband, Jason, and their two year old twin daughters, Emmy and Claire.
