Resham Ramchandani is Vice President, Associate General Counsel in the Legal & Business Affairs department at A+E Networks. A+E Networks is a global media company with a brand portfolio including A&E®, HISTORY®, Lifetime®, FYI™, LMN®, Vice TV and BIOGRAPHY®.
Resham is the lead attorney that supports the Corporate Development, Corporate and Treasury business groups within A+E. Resham works alongside senior executives in advising on, negotiating and executing complex domestic and international acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and minority investments. She also handles a variety of general corporate matters, including corporate restructurings, and represents A+E in a variety of financial transactions. In her role, she works closely with stakeholders in developing and implementing important strategic initiatives for the company.
Prior to joining A+E, Resham was Vice President, Counsel, Corporate Transactions at Viacom Inc., where she represented Viacom and its brands, including Nickelodeon, MTV, BET, and Paramount, with domestic and international mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Before moving in-house, Resham worked as an M&A attorney in private practice at Ropes & Gray LLP in New York City and Stikeman Elliott LLP in Montreal, Canada.
Resham is originally from Montreal and received her law degree from the University of Ottawa. She is admitted to the bar in New York and Quebec.
