Robyn Watson

Robyn Watson is the Director of Corporate Communications at Time Warner Cable, where she is responsible for creating strategic communications initiatives that drive key business results, and support the creation of a high performing and a culturally dynamic workforce.

Prior to joining Time Warner Cable in 2008, Robyn worked at Verizon Communications and was responsible for leading internal communications for FiOS, frontline management communications, employee engagement initiatives, and for coordinating communications with the public relations team.  In 2008, Robyn was awarded the Telecom Leader’s Circle Award for her outstanding leadership abilities and professionalism in public relations.

In addition to being an active member of WICT and NAMIC, Robyn sits on the Board of Directors for Entertainers for Educations Alliance (E4EA), an entertainment industry non-profit that uses athletes, musicians and high profile individuals to promote higher learning and personal achievement among urban youth.  She is also an athletic advisor and co-head coach for Cristo Rey New York high school girls’ basketball team, as well as an advisory board member for Common Sense Media in New York City. 

Robyn is a graduate of Emory University and holds a master certification in Strategic Organizational Leadership from Villanova University.  She currently resides in New York City with her husband and three daughters.
