Delivering business intelligence that leads to world class network operations is Sally West’s mission at Charter Communications. As Director of Reporting and Analytics, she leads a team responsible for providing trusted information to drive a superior experience for Spectrum customers. Her team is currently focused on building a suite of reporting solutions that transform raw data into valuable business insights.
Sally began her career at Texas Instruments, and later served as Chief Financial Officer for a regional behavioral healthcare system. In 2000, she joined the telecommunications industry as regional business manager for Cox Communications, and in 2004 was promoted to Director of Field and Office Operations for the South Texas region. Sally later transferred to the role of Finance Director for Suddenlink’s Tyler Call Center, eventually adding responsibilities for enterprise call center reporting and workforce management. In October 2012, she relocated from Austin to the St. Louis Suddenlink headquarters to play a key role in the launch of Velocity, a new enterprise reporting platform. Velocity soon became the "source of truth" for call center data and other organizational metrics, and Sally led initiatives to continually expand the Velocity impact. She joined Charter Communications in May of 2017, and is happiest when integrating her role there with activities that bring about personal growth and a positive work environment for her direct reports, herself and others.
Sally is the author of "Think Like an Owner!" published in Strategic Finance magazine in 2013. She holds a degree in accounting from Texas A&M University and is a Certified Public Accountant. She’s a graduate of the WICT Betsy Magness Leadership Institute, the current Mentoring Chair of the Board of Directors of WICT Midwest, and a member of the audit committee for WICT National. Sally was a speaker at the WICT Leadership Conference in New York in 2016 and 2017, and serves on this year’s planning committee for that event.
