Samantha DiPippo is the Senior Vice President of Development at Crown Media Family Networks. Based in the company’s New York office, she reports to Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President, Programming and Network Program Publicity.
Samantha is responsible for the sourcing and development of original scripted content for the company’s three linear networks, Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and Hallmark Drama. Her oversight includes sourcing pitches, evaluating submissions, developing projects, and creating programming strategies with senior management. Working closely with the company’s west coast programming team, Samantha shepherds movies through all aspects of the production process from ideation to final delivery.
Prior to joining Crown Media in 2017, she acted as director of co-productions and acquisitions for Lifetime Networks. Previously, she held positions in the programming and scheduling departments at both truTV and History Channel.
Samantha holds a bachelor’s degree in television and radio from Ithaca College. She currently resides in New York City with her husband and lovable dog.
