Sandra K. Howe

Sandy Howe is a senior executive with extraordinary go-to-market experience and deep knowledge of the global communications and media industries, including broadcast, wireless, IP and fiber networks, and their customers. Over the course of a 25+ year career, she has also built a track record of strong P&L management and product development capabilities. Her insights, business acumen and strong customer and partner relationships are widely sought after in the global technology industry.

Sandy currently serves as a Board Director and Chair, Special Committee of Minim (OTC: MINM), a smart home solutions provider of hardware and AI-driven software products sold under the Motorola brand. In 2020, she co-founded Coravant, a minority-owned systems integrator and value-added reseller serving the telecom industry where she is a Coravant investor and Board Director. Sandy is also serving as an Advisor at Afiniti which uses artificial intelligence for better customer call center performance and is an advocate for the telecom industry.

Sandy spent a decade in senior leadership positions at ARRIS (NASDAQ: ARRS), a $6.7 billion revenue telecommunications equipment company, playing a key role in building their leadership position in the broadband industry. Her global roles included time as Senior Vice President of Strategic Market Development, Global Marketing and, later, Senior Vice President and GM of their $150 million global retail business, which she turned around and returned to profitability and growth. In her time at Arris, Sandy had responsibility for P&L performance, product strategy and development, engineering, manufacturing, marketing and brand development, in both B2B and B2C businesses and assisted due diligence team on four key acquisitions – Motorola Home (NASDAQ: GOOGL), Pace (LSEG: PACE), Active Video and Sea Well. Following Sandy’s departure from Arris, the company was acquired by Commscope (NASDAQ: COMM).

Most recently, Sandy was President – Americas of Technetix Inc, a UK-based and privately held leader in advanced technology solutions for the broadband industry, where she held direct P&L management responsibility for all of the Americas and led the company’s entry into LATAM. Her career began in sales, initially as a sales engineer, before moving into account management and sales management at Broadband Networks/Numerex who was later acquired by (NASDAQ: SWIR). She spent a decade at Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO) where, as a new salesperson, she was named “Rookie of the Year in 2000 and later, as a sales manager, she lead a team driving Cisco’s largest account (TimeWarner Cable) to a sales increase from $53 million to $1 billion. Sandy achieved Cisco’s Sales Circle of Excellence in six of her eight eligible years.

A well-known and highly respected industry executive, Sandy also serves on the board of directors of NCTA – The Internet & Television Association, which represents the largest cable and media industry companies in all legislative and regulatory matters. For more than a decade, she has also served on the board of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) and is current Chairperson. WICT is a 40-year-old, 10,500-member global organization that partners with cable, media and technology companies to help build a robust pipeline of women leaders. She is also a board member of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) Foundation, where she serves on the investment committee.

Sandy graduated from Pennsylvania State University. She is a frequent speaker at conferences and is a strong advocate for the value that diversity and inclusion bring to an organization. Sandy has been honored with numerous awards, including Cable TV Pioneers, Multichannel News’ Wonder Woman and CableFax Top Women in Technology.
