Director, Production Management & Operations WE tv & Wedding Central
As Director of Production Management and Operations for WE tv networks, Sara Capecci is responsible for overseeing the logistical and budgetary components of over 180 hours of original programming annually. Such programming includes WE tv’s hits such as: My Fair Wedding, Bridezillas, The Locator, Amazing Wedding Cakes, and the upcoming premiere of Sunset Daze. Capecci supervises all production activities along with reviewing and negotiating the original production budgets and schedules. She is also responsible for negotiating 3rd party production agreements and talent deals. Capecci’s efforts are key to the ongoing growth of WE tv networks, including increasing the production quality of WE tv programming and ratings.
Capecci has been at WE tv for the past three years and previously has worked at a production company in New York City called City Lights Television. It was there that she grew from the Manager of Development to the experienced Production Manager that she is today. While at City Lights Television, she had worked on many programs such as AMC’s Movies 101, TLC’s Cover Shot, Oxygen’s 50 funniest Women Alive, and HGTV’s Don’t Sweat It.
Capecci is a graduate of Syracuse University’s SI Newhouse School of Public Communications with a BS in Television, Radio and Film, and with a minor in Speech Communications. Sara has recently completed course work at NYU in Entertainment Law and EP budgeting and scheduling. She is a proud member of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), and is a Chairperson of the Employee Development Committee at WE tv networks.
Sara has recently married and happily resides in Hoboken, NJ.
