Sara Clarke

Sara Clarke is Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy, Analysis, and Collaboration at Showtime Networks Inc. (SNI). She oversees an adaptable, solution-oriented team that enables SNI to attain its operating and financial objectives by leading analysis and strategic recommendations that help sustain Showtime subscriber growth and exceed performance targets. Her team applies technology-driven solutions to increase the flow of information and ideas throughout the organization. Tapping into her passion for mentorship and creative idea generation, Clarke designed and executes an annual Intern Group Project Program, empowering interns to develop innovative recommendations to promote Showtime programming, improve brand awareness, and drive growth.

 

Previously, Clarke worked as a consultant for Accenture in the Media and Entertainment practice formulating strategic recommendations for an array of clients. During her first stint at Showtime Networks, she implemented sales and marketing strategies in a territory with over 30 affiliates, then advanced to train account managers on corporate marketing campaigns. She began her career at Capital Cities/ABC as an Entertainment Associate before joining Affiliate Relations.

 

Clarke served on the Board of Directors of the New York Chapter of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) for seven years. During her tenure, she chaired the award-winning Prime Access Executive Mentoring Program and launched the "Giving Back" initiative to engage WICT NY members in community service. She was also named the 2018 inaugural honoree for the WICT NY Career Catalyst Award for Excellence in Mentoring. Clarke has been recognized as one of the Most Influential Minorities In Cable by CableFAX: The Magazine for several consecutive years.

 

Clarke complements her professional pursuits with a tireless commitment to be of service to others through alumni and community affiliations. Since 2007, she has enjoyed mentoring students at the Young Women’s Leadership Schools throughout NYC, and has supported the workforce re-entry goals of the women of Grace Institute since 2013. She served for three years on the Board of Directors of Global Action Project, a non-profit organization that develops youth leaders through media production and peer education.

 

She holds a Master’s Degree from Harvard Business School in Business Administration, and Bachelor’s Degree with honors in Modern Culture and Media from Brown University. She is also a graduate of WICT’s Betsy Magness Leadership Institute and attended the WICT Senior Executive Summit at Stanford Graduate School of Business. Clarke resides in South Orange, NJ with her husband and two sons.
