Sara Eaton

Sara Eaton is the Manager of Brand Marketing & Promotions at USA Network (a division of NBCUniversal). In this role Sara is responsible for developing marketing strategy and overseeing plan execution for the network’s original series and awards campaigns. Based out of New York City at 30 Rock, Sara has been integral to successful marketing campaigns for series such as: Suits, Graceland, Burn Notice, White Collar and Psych. Since joining the Marketing team in 2009, Sara has developed numerous innovative and impactful multi-platform media tactics that have helped the network maintain its status as the #1 cable entertainment network for an unprecedented eight consecutive years.

 

In her current role, Sara works closely with the director and vice president of consumer marketing to establish marketing strategy and build media plans, then oversees campaign execution across all media channels including: TV, Radio, Print, OOH, Digital and Social Media. In this role, Sara also manages trade and awards campaigns (including efforts for EMMYs® and Golden Globes®) and coordinates the fulfillment of assets for Affiliate promotions and digital distribution. Complementing her role with the media team, Sara also has a hand in special events and consumer activations. Since 2010, Sara has played a key role in USA’s annual presence at Comic-Con and spearheaded the network’s inaugural activation at SXSW in 2013. Prior to her current role with the brand marketing team, Sara held marketing coordinator and assistant positions at USA.

 

Sara received her Bachelor of Arts from Brown University and is an active alumna who mentors students and recent graduates interested in entertainment and marketing. Sara also extends her guidance to other mentoring programs, including the Undergraduate Stern Women in Business and NBCUniversal’s annual Disability Mentoring Day. Sara is a member of WICT and currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.
