Sara Timmins is the Affiliate Sales Account Executive for RLTV’s Eastern Region. She travels throughout her 19 state territory overseeing distribution, contract negotiations, and client relations. In this role, she acts as lead negotiator for several top 30 national accounts and maintains client relationships with over 14 distributors who serve more than half of RLTV’s subscribers. She also actively participates and volunteers in industry organizations, such as the national and local chapters of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), Cable and Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM), and “CableCares” with the National Cable and Telecommunications Association (NCTA). Sara began with RLTV in August 2007 serving on the Marketing team and was promoted to Account Executive in January 2010 after spending a year in Affiliate Sales.
In 2011 Sara was recognized by CableFAX as Rookie Sales Person of the Year and a member of the Affiliate Sales Team of the Year. She is currently nominated for CableFAX 2012 Affiliate Sales Person of the Year, a second run at Affiliate Sales Team of the Year, and is one of Howard County’s 2012 39 Finest Under 39. The group recognizes Howard County, MD residents under the age of 39 who are excelling in their careers.
Sara is a graduate from Virginia Tech with her bachelor’s degree in Communication and is a proud Hokie. In her time off she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and five nieces and nephew, watching football, golfing, and is a self-proclaimed foodie.
