Sarah Hoisington

​Sarah Hoisington joined ESPN, Inc. as a Coordinator in the Syndication Sales department in 2004 and is now Director, Affiliate Sales for Disney and ESPN Media Networks. An eleven year veteran of the industry, she is focused on content distribution her current responsibilities include negotiating content licensing and distribution agreements for The Walt Disney Corporation, identifying and driving new business opportunities and managing a diverse team and portfolio of networks.

 

Sarah has supported women in the industry in a number of ways, most notably as a member of the inaugural leadership team that envisioned and created the Employee Resource Group (ERG) for Women at ESPN. This Women’s ERG has grown to become very successful at the company, hosting dozens of highly-rated events that hundreds of women have participated in and benefitted from. In 2011 Sarah was asked to be director of a department mentoring program, where she led a team in developing events and educational programs for colleagues in the department focused on getting mid-level employees to the next level with a focus on executive presence, leadership skills and networking. 

 

After attending Rochester Institute of Technology for Computer Science, Sarah received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Ithaca College and went on to earn her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Connecticut.

 

Sarah is a member of the WICT New England Chapter, participates in the WICT mentoring program and was nominated for a WICT New England Women to Watch award in 2015. She resides in Massachusetts with her Fiancé, Jim, two kids, James and Kyleigh.
